Concordia
A single, defensible answer from sources that disagree.
Concordia answers a research-grade question by drawing on multiple independent sources, reconciling where they conflict, and checking the result against a fixed standard before it returns anything.
STATUS — IN PRODUCTION AT CHIRON'S FORGE
One source is a guess. Many sources disagree.
Ask a single model a hard question and you get one answer, delivered with the same confidence whether it is right or wrong. Ask several and you get several answers that rarely agree, with no built-in way to tell which to trust.
Getting an answer was never the hard part. The hard part is producing an answer that can be defended — one that has accounted for what multiple independent sources actually said, resolved their disagreements on purpose rather than by averaging them away, and been checked before anyone relies on it. That is the problem this core exists to solve.
Verified, multi-stage reasoning with an independent quality gate.
A question runs through multiple independent sources. Their findings are reconciled into a single synthesis. That synthesis is then held to a fixed standard, and a result that does not meet the standard is refined and re-checked rather than returned as though it had passed.
What comes back has three properties most model output lacks.
What the core guarantees.
Where the core ends.
Concordia is one component, not a finished product. It takes a defined input — the question, the sources to draw on, the standard to judge against — and returns a verified result. The reasoning, the reconciliation, and the verification happen inside that boundary.
Everything outside it is a separate concern. The domain, the interface, the workflow a result feeds into — these change on a faster timescale than the core does, and they belong to the system built around it. That separation is deliberate. It is what lets the same consensus engine serve compliance research, clinical evidence review, and due diligence without being rebuilt for each.
Where it applies.
Concordia applies wherever a hard question has to be answered from multiple independent sources that may disagree, and the answer has to hold up under review:
- Compliance research
- Clinical evidence and systematic review
- Legal research
- Due diligence
- Intelligence and investigative analysis
What we don't publish.
How the core reconciles sources, how the standard is defined, and how the checking process is kept independent are proprietary. We describe what the core does and what it guarantees. How it is implemented stays in the lab.
The core is built for measurable accuracy, and measurement is in progress. We will publish results once they have been independently reviewed, and not before.
In production.
Concordia runs in production at Chiron's Forge, the first application built on it. The core is developed and maintained here at the lab; the product around it is built and owned by Chiron's Forge. The two stay cleanly separated — which is the arrangement working exactly as intended.
